I oversee the creative team and studio to help improve the agency’s creative product for clients. This team includew art directors, copywriters, designers & artworkers. As the CD I work with the Account Director to make sure the client’s needs are being met and the creative goals are on track. I’m part of the ‘New business team’, responsible for nurturing strong relationships with the client, developing every aspect of a campaign based on the client’s marketing plan, conceptualising those ideas, assigning briefs to staff and verifying the client’s deadlines are being met. A CD generally gets the glory when a campaign is a success and takes the blame for anything else.
