DevOps Live
DevOps Live at Excel is a major event in the UK dedicated to DevOps professionals, bringing together industry leaders, experts and practitioners to explore the latest innovations, challenges and strategies in the field. It's a place to learn, connect and stay ahead in the rapidly evolving world of DevOps.

The Brief


We were tasked with creating a forward-thinking, high-impact event branding campaign that positions DevOps Live as the UK’s leading event for the software development and IT operations community. Specifically, the campaign must speak directly to DevOps engineers, platform teams, SREs, CTOs, and digital transformation leaders. It should showcase the event as the premier place to learn, connect and drive performance in modern software delivery.

The concept needed to reflect the speed, collaboration, and automation that define the DevOps movement. Moreover, it had to clearly communicate the event’s role in addressing the latest tools, cultural shifts, and continuous delivery practices. Additionally, the campaign had to be flexible enough for use across all channels — including digital, print, video, social, email, and on-site branding — to drive registrations, engagement, and industry visibility.


Design Approach


We started by analysing the DevOps audience mindset: fast-moving, quality-driven, and constantly seeking efficiency and innovation. From these insights, we developed several creative concepts that embody the pace and collaborative spirit of DevOps culture — from pipelines to platforms, CI/CD to cloud-native.

Each concept aimed to break through the noise of the tech event circuit. We focused on visual and verbal clarity while highlighting the real-world impact of DevOps transformation. After presenting various options — from highly technical to bold and metaphorical — we refined the final concept with client input.

We applied the lead creative across all campaign materials. These included digital banners, print advertising, email campaigns, registration graphics, social media assets, stage branding, and signage at ExCeL. As a result, the event branding campaign formed a cohesive, energetic message that amplifies the momentum behind DevOps. It firmly positions the show as a must-attend destination for software and infrastructure teams alike.
