
The Brief
To design a premium identity for the Tech Show London’s VIP Speaker Drinks event, hosted at the Sky Garden — London’s highest public garden with panoramic city views. The event needed to exude exclusivity, sophistication and align with the luxurious, botanical setting of the venue.
The creative had to balance two key elements:
– The moody, upscale ambiance of the Sky Garden.
– The established, minimal black brand of Tech Show London.
The outcome needed to work across all event materials — from digital invites and signage to on-site collateral and carry a distinct sense of prestige.
Design Approach
We crafted an elegant visual identity inspired by the atmospheric style of Ronnie Scott’s — fusing sultry black tones with glowing green accents to evoke a modern, jazz-lounge mood with a tech edge.
At the heart of the creative was a bespoke event logo: a glowing neon-style logotype reminiscent of iconic bar signage, softened with dry-ice-like misting to convey exclusivity and allure. This was framed with a lush, slightly abstract border of green foliage — echoing the immersive greenery of the Sky Garden’s botanical interior.
The interplay of light and shadow, combined with vivid leaf forms, established a dramatic yet refined tone. The black and green palette subtly reinforced the Tech Show London brand while elevating it with a premium, bespoke flourish — perfectly aligned with the high-level audience of VIPs and speakers.
The identity was applied seamlessly across invites, welcome signage, digital screens, table toppers and social assets, ensuring a cohesive, memorable experience from the first touchpoint to the final cocktail.
